Datadog, Loki and log drains

Forward your project’s request and function logs to Datadog, Grafana Loki or your own HTTPS endpoint: what to paste for each, what arrives, and how fast.

Updated Oct 20, 2026

A log drain forwards every API request and every function run, in batches within about 10 seconds, oldest first and never twice. Add one under Observability › Log drains. The full format is in Logs and log drains.

Datadog

  1. Create an API key

In Datadog: Organization settings › API keys › New key.

  2. Add the drain

Pick your Datadog site (US1, US3, US5, EU1, AP1 or US1-FED) and paste the key.

  3. Find the logs

Logs arrive with source:sovaria; each line carries source request or function.

Grafana Loki

From your Grafana Cloud stack, copy the Loki URL and user ID, and create an access-policy token with the logs:write scope. Paste all three. A self-hosted Loki works the same way with its push URL.

Your own HTTPS endpoint

Batches arrive as { "project_id", "drain_id", "logs": [...] }, signed with X-Sovaria-Signature: sha256=<hex> (verify as in Alerts: Slack, Discord, Teams, webhooks). You can add your own authorization header too.
