Terms of Service
Last updated 10 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Sovaria: the website, console, APIs, SDKs, CLI and the platform behind them. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Sovaria for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.
1. The service
Sovaria provides managed backend infrastructure: authentication and identity, policy enforcement, document and SQL databases, realtime messaging, object storage, serverless functions, simulation, versioning and usage metering, reached through a single gateway. We may add, change or retire features; we will give reasonable notice before removing a feature you rely on.
2. Accounts
You must give accurate information and keep your credentials, API keys and service role keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and your projects. Tell us promptly at support@sovaria.in if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Sovaria to:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- store or distribute malware, or content that is unlawful, abusive or exploits children;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems without written permission;
- circumvent authentication, policies, rate limits, quotas or plan restrictions;
- send spam or run phishing, denial-of-service or cryptocurrency mining workloads;
- resell the service without a written agreement with us.
4. Your data
You own the data you and your end users put into Sovaria ("Customer Data"). You give us permission to host, process and transmit it only as needed to provide and secure the service. You are responsible for having the rights and consents required for that data, and for configuring access policies appropriately. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
5. Plans, billing and usage
Sovaria offers Free, Pro, Ultra, Team and Enterprise plans. Paid plans are billed in advance for each billing period; usage beyond your plan's included amounts is billed at the published overage rates. Prices exclude applicable taxes, which we add where required. Payments are processed by our payment providers.
Free plans have hard limits and may be paused for inactivity. If a payment fails, we may limit paid features after notice and a grace period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
6. Availability and support
We work to keep Sovaria available and secure, but the service is provided without a guaranteed uptime commitment unless you have a separate written agreement, such as an Enterprise service level agreement. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.
7. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Sovaria and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, if your use threatens the security or stability of the platform, or if the law requires it. Where practical, we will give notice and a chance to fix the problem first. After termination, you can export your data for a limited period, after which it is deleted.
8. Intellectual property
Sovaria, its software, documentation and brand are owned by us and our licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. Feedback you share may be used to improve Sovaria without obligation to you.
9. Disclaimers
Except as stated in these terms, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Simulation results are previews to help you decide; you remain responsible for the changes you apply.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from these terms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Sovaria against claims arising from your Customer Data or your breach of the acceptable use rules, provided we notify you promptly and let you control the defence.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, unless mandatory consumer law where you live says otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and give at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email or in the console. Continuing to use Sovaria after changes take effect means you accept them.
