Notifications and emails
What Sovaria tells you about, how to choose what you receive by email, and desktop notifications.
Important events appear in the bell in the console and, depending on your preferences, by email. Emails come from noreply@sovaria.in.
What you are notified about
| Category | Examples | Can be muted |
|---|---|---|
| Security | New sign-in, password or email changed, MFA turned off, API keys created or revoked, access policies changed, SSO changes. | No — always on |
| Team and projects | Members joining or leaving, function deploys, migrations, incidents, database paused or restarted, failed backups. | Yes |
| Usage | 80% and 100% of a plan limit. | Yes |
| Billing | Plan changes, invoices, failed payments. | Yes (critical billing mail is always sent) |
| Product updates | New features and blog posts. Only for members of an organization, off until you opt in. | Yes |
Choose under Account → Notifications. Critical alerts (for example a failed backup or a failed deploy) are always emailed.
Desktop notifications
On Account → Notifications, Turn on desktop notifications shows a system notification when something new arrives while the console is open. It is per browser; your browser asks for permission once.
Send to your team's tools
Organizations can also forward notifications to Slack, Discord or a webhook from Organization → Integrations.
Emails to your app users
Emails to the users of your app (confirmations, password resets, sign-in links, security alerts) are separate and fully configurable — see Auth emails.
